Margo Holder – Make Up

Margo began her career in 1997 in Paris at the well known Institute Technique du Maquillage (ITM) for make-up where she was trained by Aïda Carange in beauty and fashion for film and TV.

Upon completion, she soon started to work on music videos, fashion shows, TV, films and advertising. Margo’s experience spans more than 14 years, during which time she has become a respected make-up artist within the advertising and beauty industry.

Margo has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Elle Macpherson, Juliette Binoche, Darcey Bussell, Jean Dujardun, Alice Cooper and Girls Aloud to name a few. Margo CV includes magazines like US Vogue, Vogue Italia, Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Tatler, GQ Style, Grazia UK, Company, Zest, You and Your Wedding. In her professional career Margo assisted guru make-up artist Pat McGrath. Margos’ numerous advertising clients include Sleek MakeUp, L’Oreal, Clinique, Elizabeth Arden, Boots, Activia Danone, Swarovski, Chrisanne, River Island, Next, Ted Baker, Remington, Nike, Johnson&Johnson, Activilong Paris, Panadol and Philips.

Margo is widely recognised as a creator of cutting edge trends and is a leading figure in the education industry where she passes her knowledge on to her students at both Westminster Adult Education Service and newly launched MAKE UP ATELIER school.

Margo works successfully with both students and high profile clients.

Margo has a wealth of wisdom, passion and experience, which she uses to inspire others who are keen to follow in her footsteps.

Stylist, Journalist and PR Consultant Charlene Campbell is comfortable wearing many hats, feeling equally capable in multiple areas of the fashion industry.

With a thriving digital content and PR business www.stylenews.co.uk. Charlene is adding new ventures to an already varied resume.

Charlene Campbell, started her career in fashion by attending The London College of Fashion to study Design and Technology, whilst working with designers Russell Sage, Nicole Farhi and Couture designer Adebayo Jones.

On completion of her design course at LCF, Charlene embarked on a career as a stylist and set off for the USA where she liaised with many celebrity clients, for wardrobe planning and styling for events, gaining invaluable experience. She then returned to London for an opportunity at FHM Collections magazine and worked with the fashion director shooting ‘Key Trends’ and compiling content for the bi-annual publication.

With a strong background in the planning, direction and trend driven aspect of menswear shoots, Charlene was offered an opportunity to work as Fashion Editor for a Music and Lifestyle magazine, where she exercised her skills as a stylist for both mens and womens fashion whilst working on freelance projects such as The Financial Times ‘How to Spend it’ magazine and USA Today charity fashion shows for the UMMAH ENDOWMENT fund for HIV and AIDS.

After these fulfilling experiences Charlene was motivated to set up an online magazine project www.annazbell.com, the UK’s first unisex fashion digital e-zine. With this powerful weapon she partnered with Microsoft’s MSN for content, making it a global success. In addition to this, Charlene kept her finger on the style pulse in her contributions to L’Oreal Professionel advertorial campaigns; and Askmen.com, Lucire Magazine, Black Hair and many more publications as a journalist and stylist.

Charlene Campbell continues to work on projects that fulfil her deep interest in the influential and ever growing world of fashion. With this knowledge, she tutors aspiring talent in PR, journalism and styling through Style News’ mobile workshops to prepare students for work in fashion and beauty.
